Applications for the 2022 Community Building Partnership’s program will open on Monday 16 May 2022 at 9am.
Football clubs are encouraged and urged to apply for funding to improve community football facilities at their respective venues via the Community Building Partnership program.
Facilities are recognised as a key factor in keeping and attracting players by providing spaces that not only enable play, but also inspire people to play. Current trends in relation to facilities go some way to highlight the urgent support required to continue to provide for the people of NSW.
The NSW Government is investing in infrastructure projects that deliver positive social, environmental, and recreational outcomes while also promoting community participation, inclusion, and cohesion.
In 2022, there is a maximum of $400,000 to allocate in each state electorate. Incorporated not-for-profit community organisations and local councils are eligible to apply for grants of between $5,000 and $150,000. The average grant awarded is around $20,000.
Projects with contribution from their own, or other sources, will be considered favourably.
This grant is targeted towards capital works including construction of new community infrastructure as well as refurbishment, repair, and maintenance of existing community infrastructure.
This is a fantastic opportunity for clubs, and associations to build, upgrade and repair facilities such as:
- Floodlights
- Drainage/irrigation systems
- Amenity buildings
- Other vital infrastructure for your club
Clubs MUST read the entire Program Guidelines before they commence an application.
Applications close on Friday 10 June 2022 at 5pm.
