Parramatta Football Club (Parramatta FC) has announced the successful completion of the floodlight upgrade to its iconic facility, Melita Stadium.
This project has been made possible through the generous $75,000 grant provided by the state government, which was spearheaded by the dedicated and supportive local Member of Parliament, Lynda Voltz.
The new floodlights mark a significant enhancement to the overall matchday experience at Melita Stadium, providing improved visibility for players and spectators alike.
The upgraded lighting system not only enhances safety but also sets the stage for exhilarating evening matches that showcase the remarkable talent of our players.
The new LED lighting at Melita Stadium will ensure the training at the site will be spread evenly allowing the club to better manage field wear and required maintenance.
“We are deeply appreciative of Lynda Voltz’s unwavering support and dedication to our club and community,” said Parramatta FC Club Facilities & Operations Manager Osman Jebara.
“The floodlight upgrade stands as a testament to Ms Voltz’s commitment to our shared vision of fostering a vibrant and thriving sports culture.”
The club is looking forward to celebrating this milestone with its local community on Saturday 9th September when Granville District Soccer Football Association hosts its division one junior grand finals and the Cottam Cup Grand Final at Melita Stadium.
